About Our Speaker:
Julie Bevel, LMT started Fox River MedSpa in 2013 after spending almost a decade in Las Vegas as Lead Therapist for the 5-Diamond Bellagio Spa. She took everything she learned there and translated it into the award-winning suburban sanctuary we have here today. With massage and skincare as the foundation of services, when the non-essential shutdown of 2020 happened, she decided to adapt her company’s business model to become Medical, essential, a MedSpa. This niche of business is experiencing exponential growth, and for good reason – people are seeking a level of care they just can’t get anymore in traditional doctor’s offices.
Over the last 4 years, Julie has grown the Fox River MedSpa team and leaned heavily into regenerative medicine. Headed up by Nurse Practitioner Michelle Dace & Dr. Steve Stachura, their team of 40 includes registered nurses, holistic nutritionists, massage therapists, rehab techs, estheticians, and fantastic admins.
What’s she’s learned along the way about the insurance billing system, the opioid epidemic, and the burnout of nurses and doctors with “traditional healthcare” has completely shifted her perspective on how to take care of people, and reframed her entrepreneurial mission. With the abundance of technology and resources here in America, she’s become ignited with a passion to change the face of healthcare and help people to live their best lives.
Join us for a lunch and learn to get a deeper understanding on the big picture of what’s going on with our healthcare system, and what cutting edge options are coming into the mainstream
