Economic Development Overview
Carpentersville is committed to assisting existing businesses to expand and to recruiting businesses that complement and diversify the current business mix.
The Village has a strong concentration of commercial and industrial. Carpentersville has three retail corridors along Randall Road, Route 31, and Route 25 all anchored by national retailers as well as locally owned, independent shops.
Manufacturers in the Spring Hill Center for Commerce & Industry Business Park and along the Maple Avenue industrial area have offered high paying positions in the tool& die, fabrication, injection molding, food processing, and high tech industries. The Carpentersville area has provided the skilled workforce required for these businesses to continue to prosper.
